Our Mandate

The central strategic body
for South Africa's content sector.

CDCC is the Books & Publishing — Content Developers and Creators Council, one of 17 Cultural & Creative Industries clusters established by the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture (DSAC).

Who we represent

16 disciplines, 9 provinces, one voice.

Too many practitioners — authors, designers, translators, photographers — have never had a coordinated voice in national policy. CDCC exists to change that, representing the full spectrum of the publishing value chain.
